Each of Louise's ‘Little Chinese Windows’ depicts a curated vignette of objects arranged as a still life image with image details layered over the top.
Louise had a lot of fun with this playful design, which is one of her favorites. A photo Louise took of an old electrical shop in Chinatown is the backdrop for this mischievous naughty little embroidered fiery dragon! All around him are the matching little colored pink, yellow and orange flames from an old silk robe which Louise like to think are like little electric shocks making him jump into the air!
