Chinoiserie in Neutrals
Inspired by the beautiful antique Chinese latticework in Louise's Hong Kong studio, the artwork is a collection of images in a neutral color palette based on a luxurious Chinoiserie style, with touches of gold and silver. The images are all "framed" as if looking through an ornate fretwork window. Each piece gives a glimpse into life in Asia, with a combination of places, colors, textiles, and hand-painted patterns. One of Louise's favorite parts of this design is the little flying birds that were combined with the vintage jacquard silk fabric of a tea cozy.
Louise's highly detailed prints are a delight to explore and yield new discoveries on every perusal.
Prints are printed, and where appropriate, hand-gilded, to order for each customer.
Limited edition of 100.
