Rojjarnar Chair (Arrow)
Rojjarnar is inspired by the vernacular language of simple chair construction: hard and soft elements contrast each other in textures and designs. For this series, Kitt.Ta.Khon draws from traditional North Eastern textile pattern, wicker work and objects. For example, the seat woven in star pattern is a nod to the traditional Thai sticky rice basket. The structure is constructed with rubber wood finished with beeswax, while the weaving pattern is made of 100% recycled PE plastic combined with nylon rope.
