Tranquility Four Peaks Brush Rack
The calligraphy brush rack, or translated as "brush peak" in Chinese, used to be an essential item for literary writers. This Four Peaks Brush Rack from the Tranquility series is inspired by a mountainous brush rack made of stone from the Suzhou Museum in China.
The snowcapped mountain peak effect is made by combining black and white colored glass fired at high temperatures, producing a goregous mountain range as seen in Chinese ink paintings.
