MusicCloth® Paper Cut Animals (Bull)
MusicCloth® Paper Cut Animals marries the ancient folk art of Chinese Paper Cut (jianzhi 剪纸) with MusicCloth® - an innovative material, handwoven out of cassette tapes. Made by Rehyphen®, each cloth is meticulously woven together by artisans using discarded cassette tapes from the analog days.
The result – a rich fabric layered with uniqueness and sentimentality. This design symbolizes 2 Chinese proverbs: 满院春光, meaning the light of springtime gently dapples through a bounteous bamboo grove; and 壮志凌云, meaning renewed aspirations soar amongst billowing clouds.
