GuShu Sundried Black Tea Bar (90g)

A gorgeous tea with a surprising depth of flavor, Gushu Sundried Black Tea is made from the first spring harvest of 200-year-old Assamica trees in XiaoHuSai Village, Lincang, Yunnan. Dried under the sun, this tea tastes of succulent fruit and raisins, with virtually no bitterness. The Tea Bars are pressed into a compact chocolate bar shape for easy portioning and brewing. To brew, simply break off a square, add hot water, and enjoy!

Sun-drying the tea (instead of oven-baking it) allows the tea to continue oxidizing, ageing, and changing flavor over time.

You will be surprised by how the fruity flavor of this tea lasts for so many infusions. It’s a great ‘wow’ tea to serve to people whose main reference for black tea is English Breakfast teabags, as it shows how diverse the world of black tea really is.

This 90g bar has 12 squares of tea and you can brew each square 4-5 times, depending on the size of your brewing vessel.
