Cairn Lantern
Cairn Lantern is made of handcrafted bamboo frames and mulberry paper in the shape of stacked stones which represents a peaceful soul. Cairn or Stacked Stones is also used as a form of prayer in different cultures. Cairn in Japanese culture was meant to pay respect to deceased souls. It was found along mountain trails and roadways and developed into a form of a little monk.
Each item is made to order and handmade by a specific individual artisan.
