The Shanghai-based artist Guang Yu Zhang honors his roots by emulating ink-based art in the portrayal of idealized landscapes, while flipping the script by integrating the Western approach of occupying all available negative space with more saturated elements than is usually seen in Asian art.
Pigment and screen printed on Hahnemühle Museum Etching Textured Fine Art Paper, 350 gsm. Artwork will be properly framed by the artist's team. The print is made based on the artist's original painting Shan Shui.
