The planet is the second closest to Earth, after Venus, and is usually easy to observe in the night sky because its orbit lies outside Earth’s. It is also the only planet whose solid surface and atmospheric phenomena can be seen by telescopes from Earth. No other planet has captured our collective imagination quite like Mars. It is like a cage waiting to be unlocked.

Ellis Khan, born in 1991 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a multi-media artist who specializes in Digital Collage (Photomontage) using Adobe Photoshop. Her works are interpretations of her dreams and simultaneously, a representation of herself. The Pandemic, like with everyone else, hit her hard. But it was this very asperity which spurred her art, and ‘Wonderland’ came to fruition.
