Jungle Batik Canvas Print
This artwork is an ode to the Singapore Botanical Gardens, a tropical garden over 150-year-old located near the main shopping belt of Singapore. Recently honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is the only tropical garden to receive this honor.
Bird’s Nest ferns are large, leafy ferns commonly found growing on or near trees in Singapore. Long leaves or fronds sprout from a central stem, forming a nest shape. Hardy and low maintenance, they are popular houseplants in the tropics.
The photograph used in this artwork was taken at 1 Cluny Road, Singapore Botanical Gardens.
This canvas print is a digital reproduction of an original artwork by Deborah McKellar.
