Golden Emperor Canvas Print (Small, Unframed)

Much of Singapore’s culture has a very strong ancestorial link to China, and that is what this artwokr is reflective of.

The title ‘Golden Emperor’ takes one back in time, to a period when emperors, with golden edged silk robes were still ruling China. In the interiors of the Forbidden City, where the last Emperor lived, both lacquered gold and red finishing were used on the architectural decorative details.

Motifs such as hanging lanterns, dragons, phoenix and bamboo gives this artwork a traditional festive feel.

This canvas print is a digital reproduction of an original artwork by Deborah McKellar.

Care InstructionCanvas prints have been coated for scratch, stain, and water resistance. Due to numerous reports of framed prints hung using adhesive-backed hooks / strips falling off the wall, we strongly suggest using more secure hanging methods (like nails) or opting for unframed prints.
