Blue House
The Blue House is a historic building located in the Wan Chai district of Hong Kong. It is a unique architectural landmark that represents the city's rich cultural heritage. Built in the 1920s, the Blue House derives its name from its distinctive blue exterior. The building is a composite of four interconnected tenement houses, forming a vibrant community space.
Originally serving as low-cost housing for Chinese immigrants, the Blue House has witnessed significant social and economic changes in Hong Kong over the years. Today, it stands as a symbol of urban conservation and community revitalization. The building underwent a restoration project in the early 2000s, transforming it into a cultural hub that houses a museum, a heritage center, and spaces for community activities and events.
