Ayer Tile - BLUE FARM
Ayer Tiles are bespoke tile panels made from 100% recycled plastic waste. It is part of the Ayer Ayer Project, an exploration into the plastic pollution crisis initiated by visual artist, Ernest Goh.
He started Ayer Ayer Project in 2018 to raise awareness about micro plastics in our food chain by engaging corporates, NGOs, and communities through social design and participatory artworks.
The project’s study of plastic waste and its effects on the natural environment shows that it can be a valuable resource for a robust circular economy. By combining small batch manufacturing processes and elegant design aesthetics, Ayer Tile is able to give unwanted plastic waste a new lease of life, transforming it into a range of cherished and sustainable furnishing you can welcome into any interior setting.
